Accion Sets Up A Singapore Presence

Accion Labs has acquired a Singapore based IT services firm called Hutranz. The Hutranz name symbolizes Human Transformation, the idea behind the name is that “Transformation is a life force. It creates opportunities, a new meaning to human capital and the investment in it.” Founded in early 2011 by Akunuri Suresh Kumar, the company has grown rapidly and has over 100 employees working for leading clients such as Bank of America, NCS, UOB Bank and British Telecom.

The company’s ability to grow rapidly is likely driven by their customer-centric approach. Hutranz focuses on nourishing their customer relationships, primarily by recognizing that their client’s objectives are also their own objectives. This acquisition enables our India employees an option to explore short-term or long-term assignments in Singapore and nearby countries.

It has also given a platform to grow in other APAC countries such as Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia. We are already seeing the growth as Accion Labs Sdn Bhd in Malaysia was incorporated in December 2013! Hutranz also promotes a Green Agenda, encouraging environmentally conscious activities such as reducing waste, emissions, and recycling. Additionally, an essential component of their corporate social responsibility is to care for the community. They endeavor to make a positive contribution to the underprivileged communities by supporting a wide range of socio-economic, educational and health initiatives. Many of the community projects and programs are driven by an active participation from their employees.
