Role:

  • Enabled the Gesto core to be multi-tenant to support multiple customers in the system.

  • Designed/implemented an email template system for Gesto to send customized emails to the customer.

  • Designed/implemented Gesto customer campaign targets count and member download feature.

  • Discovered critical bugs in the system and proposed solutions to it.

This approach provided uniform look-and-feel and user interface feature commonality and reflected the industry’s best usability practices derived from extensive research and experimentation by the @hp Portal Team.

Role:

  • Handled bug fixing and provided enhancement support in Approval Central Application

  • Used Servlets/JSPs, Java Beans and Hibernate

  • Involved in the migration of @HP Portal from VAP 7.2.1 to VAP 7.2.2

  • Facilitated DCC (Data Center Consolidation) Migration of the @HP Portal Application to the new hardware

Title: Customer Identification System (CID)

Description: Clients interface with CID System through CORBA calls via the Identity Server. Clients primarily interface with CID Person via the Identity Server. Several methods are currently available to invoke this Server to provide such services as generating CID Person ID’s, obtaining identification information regarding existing HP Customers, verifying the validity of CID Person ID’s as well as updating customer information in the CID Person database. The Data Management Lookup Tool allows a user to perform search queries in the CID database. It can do searches either by CID number or by Family Name. The result of the search is displayed as a list and one entry can be selected to get more details and compare the data by type of locator: address, phone & E-Mail.

Role:

  • Handled 6 releases of the CID Person Project (CID Person 2.1 – CID Person 2.6)

  • Liaised with Business Teams and Requirement Analyst in U.S. and ensured proper onsite co-ordination with the developers in India

  • Transformed high level requirements into high level designing

  • Developed detailed design for major components

  • Removed bugs found during system testing

Description: The T-Square Solution consisted of four major components: A Business Application (SAP R/3), middleware (TAXi – Tax Interface), a tax calculation engine (Sabrix) and a data warehouse (SAP BW). The middleware component provided a generic interface for any business application to obtain the result of a tax calculation. The middleware handled routing of the request to the correct tax engine and logging to the data warehouse. The middleware layer in discussion is the project TAXi.

Description: HP-CDS is an XML-based web application helped to manage the distribution of digital assets (i.e., content) persistent in a Content Management System or on a File System automatically and helped in determining how the content is delivered. It also allowed to deliver time-sensitive and constantly changing content in real-time to customers, suppliers and distribution networks. It was ideal for distributing content on the web because the content was created by a number of different sources using different file formats, including text, images, multimedia files, and so forth.

Role:

  • Involved in the integration of HP-CDS with Vignette Content Management System

  • Conducted server side internationalization of HP-CDS

  • Ensured robustness & scalability of HP-CDS’s Scheduler Engine

  • Prepared Custom Content Providers to provide contents dynamically to the customers

  • Ported HP-CDS to the Weblogic Application Server 6.1

  • Obliterated various bugs related to GUIs and various other functionalities

Title: Total-e-Server Performance Enhancement

It was observed that the response time, CPU utilization and memory usage was quite high for a web-application running on Total-e-server as compared with other leading application servers in the market.

  • Conducted technical analysis for resolving performance issues

  • Undertook efforts for enhancing performance of the Total-e-Server 7.3

Title: Collaborative Portal Framework

Description: It is a web-enabled system built over E-Speak Platform. It enabled web users to register web-services with e-speak’s core, discover the same and then perform a lookup, all through web-browser. It extended the functionalities of e-speak to the web and consisted of different modules like Registration, Account Manager, Eco Service, Lookup Service and Security. It created different types of certificates stored in the repository obtained by users for accessing various Web Services.

Role:

  • Developed unit test cases and removed bugs for the CPF Lookup Service and CPF Security Modules

  • Ported the CPF Application to Bluestone Application Server
